2)Is there a person or place that inspires you?
Everyone inspires me in this industry there is so much talent and passion it’s hard not to be inspired by where you are at the moment and who you are with.
3)What is your favorite music when creating nail art?
In the salon we have the normal music playing. When I’m working on competition pieces or even sitting and competing I listen to Coheed and Cambria, Metalica, Megadeath , Ac/dc and some random softer stuff in between. Loud and fast works better for me then soft and relaxing.
4)Do you have a favorite nail art mixed medium?
Mixing is apart of creating so I can’t say I have a favorite I love it all.
5)What are three words that describe you as an artist?
Constantly still learning
6)What is your greatest accomplishment as a nail artist?
2015 was my greatest year I got my first cover with Nails magazine January 2015, then my first Nailpro cover May 2015 and then becoming apart of the Ez flow team and winning the Nailpro Team Cup. I can’t wait to see what 2016 has for me.
7)Describe the most interesting nail art you have created by request?
I did a set of 80’s cartoon nail art and is my favorite set of nails to date.
8) What is the best trick of the trade you have learned?
When creating you have to look at your inspiration not for what it is but what shapes are used to create it. That has really helped with my hand painted art for sure
9)Do you have a favorite nail shape?
If yes, what is it? Almond I have worn it for years and I love the look
10) Any words of advice for new nail artists?
Never stop learning be open minded you can learn something from everyone around you.
